Companionship

Company at home

A cup of tea, a conversation, a puzzle or time spent on a favourite hobby. The visit should reflect the person's interests and choices.

Getting out locally

A short walk or visit to a café may be possible when agreed in advance. Explain mobility, access and any assistance needed so we can confirm suitability.

Thoughtful arrangements

Discuss the purpose and frequency of visits, who to contact about changes and whether updates should be shared with an agreed family contact.

Your questions, answered

Is companionship an emergency service?

No. Visits are arranged in advance and are not an emergency response or continuous monitoring service.

Can this include shopping?

Ask about shopping or errands alongside a visit. Agree the tasks, time and expenses in advance.

Can you support complex care needs?

We do not provide personal care, clinical supervision or medication support. Explain the person's needs so that the service boundaries are clear.
